        About The Role

        You are responsible for creating and maintaining strong client, media and team relations, with the priority on media and influencer outreach. Your specific tasks will vary from time to time, however key responsibilities include the following:

        Team Management

        1. Review all print, online, broadcast and social media coverage shared with clients
        2. Review reports created by team for accuracy
        3. Manage and coordinate team to achieve results and exceed expectations
        4. Mentor and provide support and/or management to other team members

        Monitoring, Research and Administration

        1. Ensure all year-end reporting and evaluation documents are completed as instructed, in order to ensure Client performance and future opportunities can be fully evaluated.
        2. Understand all relevant media titles, editors and influencers in the relevant markets
        3. Ensure press kits and client images are updated regularly, ensure all contacts are uploaded to the relevant databases and that press clips are correctly scanned and sent to clients
        4. Conduct overall monitoring of your client’s image, coverage generation and filing
        5. Conduct assigned media monitoring as well as general monitoring for clients in offline and online media including social channels
        6. Research any third-party information on behalf of clients and/or new business

        Media Relations

        1. Build and maintain a network of local media and influencer contacts, incorporating more high-level editors and prestige titles
        2. Meet and entertain media at events or one-to-one sessions
        3. Approve press materials and social media content prepared by team members
        4. Handle forward feature planning and pitching on behalf of clients
        5. Keep up to date with the media, learn the names of the key editors and understand the newspaper, internet and social media sections relevant for our clients
        6. Draft and distribute press releases on behalf of clients

        About the role

        The Account Executive or Senior Account Executive will work actively on campaigns in Hong Kong as well as alongside our international teams on multi-market accounts. We are looking for a great team player, strong writer, excellent communicator and enthusiastic colleague.

        Qualifications

        1. Bachelors degree
        2. Minimum 1-2 years agency experience
        3. Experience or interest in the lifestyle industry is preferred, especially travel, hospitality, luxury and F&B
        4. Native proficiency in Cantonese and good verbal and written communication skills in English required. Mandarin proficiency a plus

        1. Provide client service support attend meetings, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems, draft recaps
        2. Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles
        3. Assist project leader to manage projects working with colleagues and vendors, including tracking financial details
        4. Demonstrate understanding of and implement public engagement and social media tools
        5. Identify and work with media; demonstrate network of traditional and digital media contacts

        Job Summary

        The account manager assists the senior account manager. S/he has a deep understanding of planned channels & platforms (media, social media, digital, etc.). This position will help strategize and lead day-to-day services and major projects/ campaigns for clients while providing strong support for new business and proposal development. Strong travel, leisure, and F&B background & insights with rich media and KOL resources is a must.

        Responsibilities

        1. Main contact for the day-to-day client team, responsible for driving projects forward and reporting to the Account Director to ensure they are kept up-to-date on all activity.
        2. Responsible for successfully managing the client’s changing needs, responding positively to requests, managing expectations where needed and ensuring a successful outcome that meets agreed deadlines.
        3. Build a close relationship with key client contacts.
        4. Produce content and media assets that meet the highest standard and are in keeping with brand guidelines.
        5. Deliver content including social/media copy, imagery and video ensuring all briefs, generation of ideas and creative campaigns follow Mango’s creative process.
        6. Manage the team to continue to build and sustain relationships with key media/KOLs.
        7. Regularly make calls to our media contacts to ascertain potential opportunities forclients to ensure sell-ins are done to the highest standard and all efforts are made to secure coverage.
        8. Demonstrate the ability to supervise a small team, supporting your Senior Account Manager to lead brainstorms and draft campaign plans.
        9. Manage, delegate and drive actions, creating timelines to ensure the team meets project deadlines.
        10. Work with your Senior Account Manager to ensure projects stay on budget.

        Job Summary

        The Senior Account Manager reports to the Director of China. S/he takes leadership of client accounts driving strategy development and creative thinking to ensure exceptional work. S/he takes full responsibility for the day to day running of client accounts, proactively leading the account team to drive client projects and deliver results.

        The Senior Account Manager own front-line client relationships, provide strategic and tactical advice, and are responsible for the implementation of integrated communications solutions. S/he ensures relevant and accurate content is crafted for media and digital channels and oversees contact with media and influencers. This role is expected to help grow the agency through developing new business leads and driving the proposal process. Strong travel, leisure, luxury fashion, or F&B background & insights with rich media and KOL resources is a must.

        Preferred Qualifications

        1. Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant field
        2. Min. 6 years’ experience in fashion & luxury, PR, event marketing, travel, or advertising
        3. Digital and social media savvy
        4. Strong networking, communication and presentation skills
        5. Established media and KOL contacts would be an advantage
        6. Proficient in MS Office & Chinese typing
        7. Proactive, creative and enthusiastic team player
