        About The Role

        The office intern will be responsible for assisting the Account Executives to enable the account team to operate efficiently and as such will be focused on providing administrative support to all team members. Your specific tasks will vary from time to time and cover the whole PR mix, however key responsibilities include the following:

        Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation

        1. Conduct assigned media monitoring as well as general monitoring for clients in offline and online media including social channels as instructed by the Account Executives
        2. Assist the Account Executives to create, collate and compile all reporting documents and ensure all client agreements are submitted as per agreement (e.g monthly/bi-monthly reports) to ensure that they are kept fully informed of their progress

        Office and Account Administration

        1. Ensure press kits and client images are updated regularly and that press clips are correctly scanned and sent to clients
        2. Research any third-party information on behalf of clients and/or new business
        3. Provide ad hoc general research and support for new business assistance as required
        4. Ensure the office environment is smart and welcoming: distributing newspapers and magazines internally, preparation of meeting rooms
        5. Demonstrate a positive attitude

        We are now hiring Shanghai-based integrated marketing communications consultants of various levels to work across a number of local and international accounts. If you have experience and/or interest in the dynamic lifestyle industry — including travel, hospitality, and F&B — and enjoy working in a fast-paced and friendly environment, we’d love to hear from you.

        The role includes working actively on stand-alone campaigns in China as well as working alongside our international teams. We are looking for a great team player, strong writer, excellent communicator, and enthusiastic colleague.

        Basic Qualifications

        The account executive must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, and at least one year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including social media, advertising, event marketing, etc.

        Preferred Qualifications

        1. Enthusiasm for digital and social media
        2. Ability to create and adapt communication materials
        3. Time management and team coordination skills
        4. Ability to pitch and select relevant opportunities to optimize exposure for brands
        5. Native proficiency in Chinese and good verbal and written communication skills in English required

        Responsibilities

        1. Provide client service support attend meetings, meet deadlines, troubleshoot problems, draft recaps
        2. Write, edit and proofread materials ensuring quality and consistency with appropriate writing styles
        3. Assist project leader to manage projects working with colleagues and vendors, including tracking financial details
        4. Demonstrate understanding of and implement public engagement and social media tools
        5. Identify and work with media; demonstrate network of traditional and digital media contacts
        6. Participate in new business process including research, proposal and pitch preparation

        Job Summary

        The Senior Account Manager reports to the Director of China. S/he takes leadership of client accounts driving strategy development and creative thinking to ensure exceptional work. S/he takes full responsibility for the day to day running of client accounts, proactively leading the account team to drive client projects and deliver results.

        The Senior Account Manager own front-line client relationships, provide strategic and tactical advice, and are responsible for the implementation of integrated communications solutions. S/he ensures relevant and accurate content is crafted for media and digital channels and oversees contact with media and influencers. This role is expected to help grow the agency through developing new business leads and driving the proposal process. Strong travel, leisure, luxury fashion, or F&B background & insights with rich media and KOL resources is a must.

        Preferred Qualifications

        1. Bachelor’s degree or above in relevant field
        2. Min. 6 years’ experience in fashion & luxury, PR, event marketing, travel, or advertising
        3. Digital and social media savvy
        4. Strong networking, communication and presentation skills
        5. Established media and KOL contacts would be an advantage
        6. Proficient in MS Office & Chinese typing
        7. Proactive, creative and enthusiastic team player
        8. High attention to detail and accuracy
        9. Experience in social media management
        10. A good team leader with humble attitude

        Responsibilities

        1. Assist the Director of China to devise, plan and execute integrated PR strategies for the clients.
        2. Develop client timelines and manage expectations together with the team.
        3. Main contact for the day-to-day client team, responsible for driving projects forward and reporting to the Director of China to ensure he is kept up-to-date on all activity.
        4. Responsible for successfully managing the client’s changing needs, responding positively to requests, managing expectations where needed and ensuring a successful outcome that meets agreed deadlines.
        5. Build a close relationship with key client contacts.
        6. Ensure content and media assets meet the highest standard and are in keeping with the client’s guidelines.
        7. Supervise content covering social/media copy, imagery and video ensuring all briefs, generation of ideas and creative campaigns follow Mango’s creative process.
        8. Manage the team to continue to build and sustain relationships with key media/KOLs.
        9. Regularly make calls to our media contacts to ascertain potential opportunities for clients ensure sell-ins are done to the highest standard and all efforts are made to secure coverage.
        10. Demonstrate the ability to supervise a small team, supporting the Director of China to lead brainstorms and draft campaign plans.
        11. Manage, delegate and drive actions, creating timelines to ensure the team meet project deadlines.
        12. Work with the Director of China to ensure projects stay on budget.
